The Learning Tree's
Mobile Campus

From the Campus Supervisor -

Welcome to the Mobile Campus of The Learning Tree, Inc., located just outside the city of Mobile in the community of Semmes. Our current enrollment offers services to 3 adults and 30 children housed and served throughout the Mobile community. Our main campus houses the school, our largest group home, and our central office facility.

The Mobile Campus is continuously changing to accommodate today's needs, while still respecting Our goal here in Mobile is to respect the vision and mission of The Learning Tree Inc., while continuously adapting to changing needs of the children and adults that we serve. We strive to provide a loving, instructional environment, while providing independence in everyday living.

During this past year, we have continued to successfully transition students back into their homes, schools, and communities. Most recently, in August of 2006, we proudly graduated two young adults from our program to transition into community placements.

The Mobile Campus is known for the positive and supportive atmosphere created by our qualified and dedicated staff, and we are blessed to have such a wonderful group of people to work with our children day in and day out.

Pine Belt Telephone CompanyBased in Arlington, AL., Pine Belt Telephone Co. has for over 50 years continued "to do all that it can to bring the conveniences and benefits of modern communications systems to the people of the area..."

We are thrilled to announce that in September of this year, Tiffany Nettles helped facilitate the gracious donation of a vehicle to The Learning Tree Inc. - Mobile Campus by Pine Belt Telephone Co. Their donation of a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban will be greatly utilized by our Maintenance department.

This V8, 4x4, ¾ ton work horse of a vehicle will help our maintenance division have all the horsepower necessary to continue to keep this campus running smoothly, and look good doing it. We are very grateful to the Pine Belt Telephone Co. and humbled by their generosity for our campus, and their support that will definitely benefit all the residents of The Learning Tree.
