Services

Our preschool program is licensed by the State Department of Human Resources and is a year-round Preschool program certified for children ages 2.5 to 6 years old. We currently have two classrooms with small class sizes, 12 kids in each class, with a high teacher-student ratio.
Services offered to all children:
- Children learn math, language, science, reading, social skills, and art in a fun, theme-based, hands-on environment
- Curriculum is based on the Alabama State Department of Education Preschool and Kindergarten Standards to ensure school readiness
- Social skill development
- Children develop skills that help them excel in school and have a lifelong love of learning
- Children learn responsibility through assisting those with disabilities
- Classes are taught by certified teachers and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA)
- Assessment and individualized plans

- Graduate or undergraduate students from Auburn University assist with 1:1 instructional sessions
- Use of scientifically validated teaching procedures
Services offered to children with developmental delays:
- Highly individualized program using procedures based on Applied Behavior Analysis
- 1:1 and group instruction are utilized to emphasize language and social skill development
- Data-based programming and progress tracking are supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and certified teachers
- Various tools, including the Verbal Behavior Milestone Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP), are used in the assessment and teaching of communication, social, and academic skills
- Children with disabilities have the opportunity to learn play and social skills from their typically developing peers
- Families receive training on instructional and management strategies
- Provide a hands on training program for public school systems and other preschools
