- Year-round Preschool preschool program for ages 2 to 6 years
- Small class sizes with a high teacher-student ratio
- Children learn math, language, science, reading, social skills, and art in a fun, theme-based, hands-on environment
- Children develop skills that help them excel in school and have a lifelong love of learning
- Curriculum based on the Alabama State Department of Education guidelines to ensure school readiness
- Classes are taught by certified teachers and Board Certified Behavior Analysts
- Graduate or undergraduate students from Jacksonville State University assist with 1:1 instructional sessions
Special Needs Program
- Highly individualized program using procedures based on Applied Behavior Analysis
- 1:1 and group instruction are utilized to emphasize language and social skill development
- Data-based programming and progress tracking are supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts and certified teachers
- Various tools, including the Assessment of Basic Language & Learning Skills – Revised, are used in the assessment and teaching of communication, social, and academic skills
- Children with disabilities have the opportunity to learn play and social skills from their typically developing peers
- Families receive training on instructional and management strategies
- Provide a hands on training program for public school systems and other preschools
