Lauren Sova - Teacher

My name is Lauren Sova.  I am a 2005 graduate of University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and have completed course work for certification as a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst through the University of South Alabama. Although I am originally from Ohio, I began my career as a kindergarten teacher in Mobile Public School System. As one of the first teachers hired for the program I began working for The Little Tree when the school opened in 2007.  I love teaching and especially enjoy working here at The Little Tree.

Stephanie Cazalas - Teacher

My name is Stephanie Cazalas and I am proud to have been raised in Mobile, AL.  I received a degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Alabama and have also completed course work for certification as a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst.  I have experience teaching preschool and kindergarten in Mobile and Memphis, TN.  I have three wonderful children ages 15, 10 and 7 and was a stay at home mom for 12 years.  This is my fourth year as an employee for The Little Tree.  As the mother of a child with autism, I have a special interest and love of teaching children with special needs.

 Melanie Tew - Teacher

I am Melanie Tew and I was born and raised in Mobile.  I have been working with children with and without disabilities for over ten years. I graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education in 2007; and then from the University of South Alabama with a M.Ed. in Early Childhood Special Education in 2009. Currently I am pursuing certification to become a behavior analyst (BCBA) and hope to obtain certification in 2011. This is my third year working for The Little Tree and I am so thankful to be a part of this program.
